This is the first "The Message" Bible I've owned. I love this Bible!!! I love to just sit down and read it, specially the Old Testament. It has really helped me to understand the stories through a more human perspective, to see how the Biblical characters relate to me and how God was working through their situations. I love how it reads like a regular book, and it makes you interested in what has going on. I had never read my Bible as much. Of course, study Bibles are terrific. I still use mine. But for daily devotional, this is definitely what you want! As for the book itself... What you see is what you get. The size is great, the leather feels good... No complains.
