3-Book Boxed Set June 4, 2010 pam m (kansas) My son got these books as they were being released ... he has re-read them so many times, that they are held together with duct tape. I bought this boxed set as part of his high-school graduation present. He absolutely loves this book series and can't wait for the 4th book to come out.
good choice for long car rides May 3, 2010 moving (oregon, usa) This item helped me drive across the country without going mad, good buy if you need something to drive to
Great "Cycle" April 10, 2010 Vampire slayer I'll be honest, it took me a long time to read Eragon because the beginning is pretty slow. Once I got past the first . . . 30 pgs I started getting way into it. I love this series even though the some of the magic words are hard to pronounce. This is the ultimate fantasy. One of the best books that I've read in a long time. You know how when you read a book and you get into it. You either start feeling things for your characters? Well that's what a good book is and that's how this book is. It's also believable (even though it has dwarfs and stuff in it). I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good thriller/fantasy. And Christopher pollini is coming out with another (the last one) soon.
don't order from zbooks March 16, 2010 Rande R. Atkins (Colton, CA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I will never order from this company again nor do I suggest anyone else do either. They have very poor customer service if any at all.
I ordered a set of books, waited the reccomended month and did not receive the books. Complained but all that happened is that I got an email telling me I could track the books. I followed the link and it just told me that it was shipped but did not say where the books were.
I have yet to receive the books, but I do not need or want them any longer.
Great for older elementary and middle school kids. February 14, 2010 Darin D. Bodenhamer (Kansas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My wife and I bought this set for my 9 year-old daughter for Christmas. The books are hard for her to get in the library because they are checked out all the time. The quality of the books in this set is very good. My daughter loves the stories. They are a little violent, so not for really young kids and the reading level is about 6th grade, but my daughter is a good reader and is on her second time through these books. Good fantasy fiction that catches her attention and encourages young people to read.
